Day 01 & 02

Upon arrival proceed to Negombo. In the evening witness the Toddy tapping process and taste the local alcohol substitute while having a mouthful of baked Lagoon fish as well.

Early next day morning proceed to the Lellama & the fish market. Buy the goods necessary for a good cooking demonstration of Clay Pot Prawn Curry.

Day 03 & 04

Proceed to Colombo and explore the city while engaging in some shopping as well. In the evening and on the next day learn the arts of Sri Lankan Vegetable dishes with Ms. Mohara Dole (one of the best celebrity chefs in Sri Lanka)

Day 05, 06 & 07

Journey to the cultural triangle and learn how to prepare the ancient and traditional food – Milk Rice or “Kiri Bathth” and taste this with a dish of Lunumiris.

On the next day do a cooking demonstration of Pol Sambol and KanKun Garlic.

Day 08 & 09

Proceed to Kandy and en route visit a Spice Garden where you would learn the secrets of the Spices of the East and how they’re grown and what their exact uses are.

On the next day experience a Fusion cooking demonstration.

Day 10 & 11

Next day take a train ride to the city of Nuwara Eliya and proceed to the Tea Factory hotel where you would witness cooking with the world famous Tea, which is a very unique art.

Day 12

Journey back to Colombo to learn how to prepare several seafood dishes such as Chilli Crabs, Garlic Crab and Lobster.
